The McBarmma Golf League was formed on June 15th 1906 to afford recreation in connection with the hard work done by the railway men and railway supply men attending the Railway Mechanical Conventions. The League derives its name from the initials of "The Master Car Builders Association" and the "American Railway Master Mechanics Association". Clement Street was a Charter Member of McBarmma and the inventor of the "Mechanical Locomotive Stoker" which revolutionized the Railway industry."
