1934 Golf Book 'Group Golf Instruction' by Helen B. Schleman
Helen Blanche Schleman was a noted "unapologetic feminist". She drew on her experiences as a Physical Education teacher at Ohio State University in the 1920's and her service as the 1933 Manager of the Forest Park Golf Course in Valparaiso, Indiana to author, "Group Golf Instruction". Which became a primer for PGA teaching pro's for years. In the year of publishing of this book (1934), she went to Purdue University as director of the first women's residence hall. She would rise to Dean of Women at the school, and have Schleman Hall named there in her honor. Book remains in complete Very Good-Excellent condition
