Retief Goosen Signed 2001 US Open at Southern Hills Flag
The U.S. Open returned to Southern Hills for the first time since 1977. Retief Goosen won the first of his two U.S. Open titles in an 18-hole Monday playoff, two strokes ahead of runner-up Mark Brooks. The tournament was also notable for ending defending champion Tiger Woods's "Tiger Slam". Presented here is a signed Southern Hills 2001 US Open Flag. Winners signing their major tournament flags are great for any collection. The South African was in the top ten in the Official World Golf Rankings for over 250 weeks between 2001 and 2007. His main achievements have been two U.S. Open wins (in 2001 and 2004) and heading the European Tour Order of Merit in 2001 and 2002.
