Jack Nicklaus Signed 1965 Masters Tournament SERIES Badge #17556
Across the canary yellow oval 1965 Masters Series badge is the jet black sharpie signature of record 6-time champion Jack Nicklaus. While Jack would end with half-a-dozen green jackets, this would only be his second - two in three years with great promise going forward. The 1965 Masters staged Jack Nicklaus outdueling the remainder of the 'Big 3' Gary Player and Arnold Palmer - by a sizeable nine strokes to win it. Here we have for bidders series badge #17556 from the 1965 Masters tournament signed by the Golden Bear. While the signature remains as strong as you will see, the slight detractor comes on the condition sensitive light colored badge showing usage over that week. The original pin is intact. This '65 represents a pivotal piece in the run of signed Masters Series badges - the year Jack became a multi-Masters Tournament champion.
