1920 'A Golfer’s Gallery By Old Masters' By Bernard Darwin
This large 14 x 16” volume contains 18 mounted plates of classic golf works of art. It was published Country Life circa 1920. Bernard Darwin provides the introduction and commentary. Accompanying the book are 19 pages of related text. There are instructions in the back of the book for those who wish to frame the prints. Accordingly, many copies of this book were taken apart and are missing all or some of the plates. This copy is completely intact with all 18 plates in good condition.
Darwins’ commentary is insightful and delightful to read as he relates what is going on in the art to golf history. D&J D4030 "1
