Olin Dutra Large Format '1934 Open Champion' George Pietzcker Photo - Framed

Ryder Cupper, 1932 PGA Champion and 1934 Open Champion 'King Kong' Olin Dutra Posed in a long sleeve collared shirt and pushed back hair was the prominent golf figure in the 1920's and 1930's, Olin Dutra. The camera eye which captured this image was George Pietzcker, a remarkable photographer from St. Louis, who covered the golf seen from the early 1910's till mid 1930's. During this time period, he was the official photographer for the United States Golf Association creating a visual record of the country's national championships and champions. This incredible large format photograph carries the Pietzcker trademark in the bottom right corner in the same white ink and hand of the bottom centered '1934 Open Champion.' Golf photography collectors clamor for George Pietzcker's work, with multiple major winner Olin Dutra content bringing this piece to the top of the acquisition list. 26" x 30"
