Tiger Woods Signed 2019 Masters SERIES Badge #R10453 BGS Auto Grade 10
Bearing the carefully applied modern, perfect '10' signature of Tiger Woods in ideal placement is this 2019 Masters Series Badge #R10453. With a triumphant raise of the putter millions were having flashbacks of 22 years ago, when a 21 year old Tiger Woods won his first Masters Tournament in just his third try. He was promptly greeted by his son Charlie positioned just off the back of the 18th green this time, reminiscent of the memorable scene with 'Pops' Earl Woods in 1997. The win was also an opportunity for the next generation of spectators and competitors alike to see one of the most exciting players in the history of golf back in the winners circle as an aging legend, on arguably the biggest stage in golf. Woods found himself atop the on-course scoreboard that is depicted in green on the white annual 2019 series badge artful design. Tiger's extreme reluctance to sign items of quality outside of his Upper Deck partnership has been well-documented, that's if you can get him to sign anything at all. The said Upper Deck contract never featured a run of badges, with very few submitted to UDA for their Tiger send-in signings that took place long prior to the 2019 Masters Tournament. This is a badge that we continuously are asked about, representing a collecting need that often goes unfulfilled - with this lot being the exception! It contains a perfect '10' signature, the best-of-the-best for the hallowed 2019 Masters badge. Beckett has reviewed this signature (10) and graded this badge (7) noted in the encapsulation label #15490176 along with the tournament specifics for valuation, preservation and presentation.
