1915 Brooklawn CC Mixed Foursome Silver Brush Trophy Won By H.B. Stoddard - May 29th
Trophies came in all shapes, sizes and compositions - this a silver hallmarked 'trophy' brush awarded to H.B. Stoddard by Brooklawn Country Club. The Fairfield, Connecticut club course was designed by AW Tillinghast, opening for golfers in 1895 as one of the earliest in the United States. This was awarded specifically for the Mixed Foursome competition in 1915, as engraved on the topside. 4 3/4" x 2 3/4"
