1965 Ryder Cup Great Britain Team 100% Cashmere Lt Blue Sweater
We in the States call it a sweater, but in Great Britain the piece of outwear is termed as a "Jumper". The PGA of Great Britain did everything in grand fashion for the 1965 Ryder Cup which was contested at Royal Birkdale Golf Club in Southport, England. This included the Sweater/Jumper as shown in accompanying photo the breast area of this official 1965 Great Britain team garment bears the embroidered Lion logo with wording RYDER CUP 1965 underneath. Made by Pringle of Scotland, size listed as 40/102.
