2008 Ryder Cup at Valhalla USA & Europe Teams Signed Welcome Dinner Menu
Team USA was victorious on home soil at Valhalla GC with their 16 1/2 - 11 1/2 point victory over the European Team in 2008, ending their streak of three straight wins! This 2008 Ryder Cup 'Welcome Dinner' menu adorned by gold and white stylized font with distribution limited to event invitees including of course the guests of honor, players from both sides of the isle. Heightened appeal is appropriately given to this menu example, as it is remarkably signed by both the United States and European teams and captains on the verso just below their respective name. This, an attribute that was reserved almost exclusively to the players' own copy's, in similar fashion to the Masters Club Dinner tradition.
Much preferred, sit-down, "friends and family," black marker signatures are carefully applied with conscious placement on this 2008 Ryder Cup 'Welcome Dinner' menu by: Captain Paul Azinger, Phil Mickelson, Stuart Cink, Kenny Perry, Jim Furyk, Anthony Kim, Justin Leonard, Ben Curtis, Boo Weekley, Steve Stricker, Hunter Mahan, J.B. European Team: Captain Nick Faldo, Paul Casey, Sergio Garcia, Soren Hansen, Padraig Harrington, Miguel Angel Jimenez, Robert Karlsson, Graeme McDowell, Ian Poulter, Justin Rose, Henrik Stenson, Lee Westwood and Oliver Wilson. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authenticity (ALOA) comes with this lot.
