Bart Forbes is known for his work with watercolor. His commissions in the sports world have included the Kentucky Derby, Indianapolis 500, the Boston and New York Marathons and as it pertains to this offering the Byron Nelson Golf Tournament. In addition, Forbes has designed 20 postage stamps for the United Postal Service including the Lou Gehrig commemorative. Unlike some presentations of Forbes, this work which pays tribute to the 1945 streak of 11 straight PGA Tour wins is very difficult to locate in any format.
