1971 Ryder Cup at Old Warson CC Glass Plate
A piece that presents very well is offered in this lot, depicting the course layout at Old Warson for the 19th competition of the Ryder Cup. The 1971 Ryder Cup matches were conducted on September 13-18, and exciting matches were the norm at this year's Ryder Cup. Old Warson saw the USA win be keyed by the Four-Ball win of the Arnold Palmer/Jack Nicklaus team on Day Two, and finally Nicklaus' singles wins in both the morning and afternoon rounds on Sunday
