Tom Watson Signed Pebble Beach Embroidered Flag
All proceeds from this auction item will be donated to the Bruce Edwards Foundation for ALS Research. In April 2004, Bruce Edwards, longtime friend and caddy of PGA golfer Tom Watson, died from ALS. They provide funds to medical research facilities dedicated to slowing the progression of and finding a cure for ALS. The Foundation fulfills a promise made to Bruce by Tom to continue to fight to find a cure for this fatal disease. We are pleased to offer this item for such a great cause.
Tom has signed this Undated Embroidered Pebble Beach Flag with the inscription: "Us Open 1982". Presents extremely well, and is a great addition to any collection, especially when you figure the difficult signor Tom has known to be lately. An eight time major winner, this was Watson's sole US Open victory. When is the last time you saw Tom add an inscription to anything? James Spence Authentication (JSA) provides authenticity for this Watson signature and notation.
