SLAM-BO Heated by the Famous Jon-E Warmer - Signed by Chandler Harper
Chandler Harper(d-2004) turned pro in 1934, and the highlight of his seven win PGA career was his triumph in the 1950 PGA Championship. His other notable wins were in the Canadian Open in 1949, the Texas Open in 1954, and the Colonial Open in 1955. Harper established the record for lowest score on Tour when he shot 63-63-63 over the last three rounds of the '54 Texas Open, now that is consistent. So successful he was that marketeers came to him with products, one such project was this endorsed ball warmer. The idea is to alternate balls from hole to hole so they have time to warm up, therefore achieving a further distance when hit. He has autographed the box with his black sharpie signature. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature, and their letter of authenticity will come with this lot
Instructions read as follows:
1. Fill and ignite the JON-E Warmer in the recommended way. Allow to heat
2. Open the SLAM-BO case and insert the heated JON-E. Then place 2 balls into the cover and close.
3. On the 1st and alternate holes use the ball under the "ODD" marked pocket. Use "EVEN" numbered ball on the even numbered holes.
4. Note: Hinge can never wear out. The more it's used the stronger it gets
5. Clip SLAM-BO on inside or outside of bag or carry in the hip pocket as you would a wallet
