1957 LA Open Tournament Program Signed by Doug Ford
The 1957 Los Angeles Open was contested at the rain soaked Rancho Municipal Golf Course, which produced the closest competition to date in the events history. With nine holes remaining on the final day, only two strokes separated the top 16 in the field. It was Doug Ford's consistent play (69-71-71-69-280) that brought him a one stroke victory. The program from that event, which jump started a great 1957 campaign for Ford highlighted by his '57 Masters win, is offered in this lot. Cover signed by Doug Ford, with the signature having undergone the authenticity review of James Spence Authentication with that company's letter of authenticity accompanying this lot.
