1959 Los Angeles Open Program Signed by Ken Venturi
Ken Venturi's final round 63 at the Rancho Municipal Golf Course to come from eight strokes off the lead to win the 1959 Los Angeles Open will always be remembered as one of the memorable rounds in L.A. Open history. That final round was a little short of incredible as Venturi shot six-unde-par 30 on the front side, including back-to-back eagles on eight and nine, and grabbed three more birdies on the back nine, bogeying only number 12, to finish with the lowest final round in the history of the event. A Near Mint copy of the '59 L.A. Open program with the champion, Ken Venturi's autograph on the cover is offered. James Spence Authentication (JSA) letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
