Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer Signed Shell World of Golf Hat
Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer only played against each other twice in Shell's Wonderful World of Golf. Presented here is a great condition white Shell World of Golf Hat signed by both The King and the Golden Bear. These "challenge matches" were extremely popular and were sponsored by Shell Oil. It began as a pre-recorded one-hour program on Sunday afternoons, and was notable, along with other things, for including information about the host country for that week's show. Conversations between the contestants between shots was also one of the many ways it allowed the audience to feel as though they were on the course and part of that days group.
