Bobby Nichols Signed 1964 PGA Championship at Columbus CC Glass Plate

Bobby Nichols was the wire to wire winner, but there were two pretty good golfers that chased him all weekend. Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus both finished runner-up to Nichols, whose 271 was a PGA low record that stood for 30 years, he was on fire. After 51 years this plate still remains in ex-mt condition free from chipping. The Major winner of this event Bobby Nichols has clearly signed the glass which depicts the layout at the Columbus Coutry Club for the 1964 PGA, with a "10" autograph. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature of Nichols, and their letter of authenticity comes with this lot. Plate measures 9" x 7".

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on September 27th with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
