Nicklaus, as a Rookie, defeated Arnold Palmer in an 18-hole playoff to gain his fist career win and his first Major at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania. The Bear’s first win marked the beginning of a record setting career that culminated in 18 Major titles. Nicklaus set a standard that every golfer since has hoped but failed to achieve. We all know the well told story of Jack's first career win in Arnold Palmer's own backyard. This patch measures a 2" diameter
