1964 US Open at Congressional Patch - Ken Venturi Winner
With temperatures reaching 100 degrees on the course it is almost certain whoever owned this 2 1/2" diameter Press designation badge at the 1964 U.S. Open was sitting in the cool of the press tent watching on television as Ken Venturi sank his clutch 10 foot par putt on the 72nd hole to win the '64 Open. Offered here is a 2 3/4" patch from Venturi's sole major victory
