1960 PGA Championship at Firestone CC Patch - Jay Hebert Winner
There were only 13 sub-par rounds in the entire 1960 Championship contested at Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio. With those scores a different player turned up as the leader at the end of each round. Arnold Palmer captured the first round lead with a 67. The most important round however, the final Sunday round, belonged to Jay Hebert who fired a final round 70, for a one-stroke win over Jim Ferrier. Offered here is a Firestone CC PAtch from that 1960 PGA Championship badge from the 1960 PGA Championship which Hebert captured. It measures 3 1/2" x 2"
