1966 PGA Championship at Shoal Creek Crest - Lee Trevino Winner
Very few opportunities exist for the collecting world to acquire these embroidered pocket crests which measure 3" x 4" and were designed for display on the breast pocket of a sports jacket.Three former PGA Champions Lee Trevino, Gary Player and Lanny Wadkins staged one of the most exciting PGA Championships ever. In the end Trevino, wielding a hot putter he purchased a few weeks earlier in Holland, took the lead on Saturday with a 67 and on Sunday turned back every bid Wadkins and Player could offer until he walked off the 72nd green with a four-shot victory.
