1958 Chicago Open Tournament Program Signed by Ken Venturi
For the Hall of Famer Ken Venturi his win at the 1958 Chicago put a fine finishing touch to the 1958 PGA Tour season, it marked his fourth triumph of the year and placed him third on the overall Tour money list for the '58 season. The victory was a one stroke triumph at Gleneagles Country Club in Lemont, Illinois over fellow Hall of Famers Julius Boros and Jack Burke. He showed that this triumph in '58 was no fluke returning to the same tournament and course to win again in 1959. The 1958 Chicago Open program from this event, which remains in excellent condition, has been cover signed by Venturi (d-2013). James Spence Authentication (JSA) provides a letter of authenticity for the Ken Venturi autograph in this lot.
