1964 Insurance City Open Program Siugned by Ken Venturi
After winning the United States Open in June of 1964, Ken Venturi was back in the winners circle one month later when he posted a win at the Insurance City Open Invitational (better known today as the Travelers Championship or in previous years as the Greater Hartford Open). Following a third win in '64, Venturi received that year's Sports Illustrated magazine's "Sportsman of the Year" award and the PGA Player of the Year award. The Hall of Famer has signed the cover of the vg-ex program from his '64 win at the Insurance City Open. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature of the beloved player turned beloved broadcaster Venturi, and their letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
