1958 US Open at Southern Hills CC Program Signed by Tommy Bolt
In the 1958 United States Open, Tommy Bolt controlled his combustible temper and managed his estimable game all four rounds. He shot 71,71,69 and 72 for an aggregate of 283 at troublesome Southern Hills; he led from starting line to finish line, and won the tournament by four strokes over first time starter twenty-two year old Gary Player. This excellent condition (would score higher if not for limited tape area on spine) course issued program published by the United States Golf Association features a cover signature from champion Tommy Bolt. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature from Bolt, and there letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
