1958 US Open at Southern Hills CC Press Season Grounds Clubhouse ID Pin #88
The scoring conditions during the 1958 US Open are well known. It was only fitting to see the feisty Oklahoman Tommy Bolt grind his way to his sole major victory. Bolt defeated Gary Player by 4 strokes, then again it was only the Black Knight's US Open debut, not too shabby for the then 22 year old. This lot contains a near mint 2 1/8" diameter "Press" badge as distributed by the United States Golf Association for the '58 U.S. Open.
