1962 Seattle Open Invitational Seasons Ground Pin #2929

With the Seattle World's Fair held in proximity, the Seattle Open in 1962 attracted Arnold Palmer, Billy Casper, Tony Lema, Ken Venturi, Dave Hill, Julius Boros, Doug Sanders, along with Hollywood stars Bob Hope, James Garner, and a crowd of 6,000 for the pro-am on Wednesday. The tournament which began on Thursday was won that year by the 22-year-old rookie Jack Nicklaus, his second victory as a professional, following his win over Palmer at the U.S. Open in June. Badge is number #2929 and is 2" diameter. Very hard to find early victory from Jack. Badge is in great shape and has the pin back in place.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on September 27th with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
