Art Wall Original Oil Painting Hung at Green Jacket Restaurant In Augusta

This one-of-a-kind artwork, showcasing the 1959 Masters champion Art Wall in golfing attire, truly needs to be seen for its immense visual splendor. For years it hung in Augusta, Georgia's Green Jacket Restaurant on Washington Avenue. This work can stand as a prized display in the most advanced of Masters collections with knowledge that it hung for so many years just across the street from the hollowed entrance gate to the Augusta National. As an added highlight to this multifaceted treasure the artist of this work is former All-Pro wide receiver and NFL Hall of Famer Tommy McDonald, with his signature applied to the lower corner of his work. McDonald portraits are very highly desired with a similar depiction of Joe DiMaggio selling for $4,000 in a 2006 May Hunt's Auction. **Note some chipping of paint on right side of image see photo, started at reduced minimum bid. Frame measures 21 3/4" x 19" while the painting itself measures 10 1/2" x 13 1/4"

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on August 2nd with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
