2002 US Open at Bethpage Black Commemorative Pewter Plate
The United States Golf Association took a chance in 2002 taking the U.S. Open to a public course on Long Island known as Bethpage. The extremely difficult black course was up to the task, and the event was a hit with the New York golf crowd. Oh yes they had a great champion as well with Tiger Woods claiming his second of four career U.S. Open wins. They official 10 1/2" diameter pewter plate which was sold in the U.S.G.A. merchandise shop is offered in this lot.
