1983 PGA Championship at Riviera Commemorative Pewter Plate
A brilliant 6-under par 65 provided Hal Sutton with the opening-round lead. Despite a charge from Jack Nicklaus late, Sutton went wire-to-wire for a one-stroke win which lead to this major triumph and subsequent Player of the Year honors. Offered in this lot from the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, California is the official 10 1/2" diameter pewter plate of the 1983 PGA Championship.
