Al Geiberger Signed 'Mr. 59' Logo Golf Ball

The first-ever player to shoot 59, for Al Geiberger it came during the second round of the 1977 Memphis Classic at Colonial Country Club. Known as Mr. 59, he had 11 birdies and an eagle on the par-72 course. You can find Al Geiberger balls out there signed, even some with the notation 59 on them, but finding this combination on an event ball from the Danny Thomas with scorecard markings, that is the WHOLE PACKAGE.James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph from Al Geiberger, and their letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on August 2nd with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
