Many collectors of golf autographs are turning today to "match" used scorecards for the authenticity of the signature provided. With similar guaranties to the bank check. These items are some of the most reliable with quality signatures from the golfers they represent. This vintage 1957 card was from the Western Open contested at Detroit's Plum Hollow Golf Club. Sam Snead has attested with his signature in pencil to the score of his playing partner Bill Bisdorf. A win in the 1957 Western Open, won by Doug Ford, was not in the cards for Slammin Sammy but he did manage to notch 82 career PGA victories most all-time. James Spence Authentication verifies the signature of Snead.
