1948 All American Open Contestant Badge - Tam O'Shanter - Chicago - Lloy Mangrum Winne

Shows some edge emulsion, but still highly visible four color design remains in excellent condition. This famed tournament was hosted by golf promoter George S. May just outside Chicago, Illinois at Tam O'Shanter each August in the 1940's and 50's. This event was a favorite of Tour pros due to its extreme high prize money. Lloyd Mangrum was a large beneficiary of the All American Open winning in 1948,'49 and again in '53. 1" x 1 /4"
