1959 Desert Inn Tournament of Champions Bag Tag - Gary Player
This lot offers a detailed 3 1/2" diameter contestants bag tag designed for Hall of Famer Gary Player at the 1959 Desert Inn Tournament of Champions. This Las Vegas event had its origin in 1953 featuring only players who won PGA Tour events the previous year. A premiere stop on the Tour yearly the event was contested in Las Vegas from 1953-66. Player gained entrance in 1959 via his first career win at the Kentucky Derby Open.
