1963 Western Amateur Championship Program Signed by Tom Weiskopf
Elite Amateur event which traces its origin to 1899. Star amateur Tom Weiskopf broke through with a victory in the 1963 event held at Point O'Woods Golf & Country Club in Benton Harbor, Michigan. Program in near mint condition which has been cover signed by the champion Weiskopf is offered in this lot. Weiskopf would go on to an outstanding professional career highlighted by his British Open victory. This success was not uncommon for Western Amateur champions which have included Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson. James Spence Authentication has reviewed this signature from Tom, and their letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
