1964 Women's US Open Program Signed by Mickey Wright
Held at San Diego Country Club, Mickey Wright reigned at the 1964 Women's US Open and was crowned her fourth win at the event. It did not come easy for the hometown favorite Mickey as it took an 18 hole playoff against fellow San Diego resident Ruth Jessen. Wright led or was tied after each of the five rounds to win the twelfth of her thirteen major titles. Scheduled for two rounds on Saturday since 1953, the following year (1965) the USGA had the final round moved to Sunday. This excellent condition program has been signed by the champion Mickey Wright in black sharpie.
