1944 Golden Valley Invitational Program Signed by Byron Nelson
Byron Nelson and Harold "Jug" McSpaden dominated World War II era golf earning the nickname, "The Gold Dust Twins". Back in the day of PGA two player team events contested as Four-Ball this combo won at least two sanctioned events the 1945 Miami International and the 1944 Minneapolis Golden Valley Invitational. The program from the Minneapolis, Minnesota event contested at that cities Golden Valley Country Club is offered here in excellent condition with strong spine intact on this complete program. In action shots of The Gold Dust Twins-McSpaden and Nelson are depicted in the program. Hall of Famer Nelson has added a black sharpie autograph to the cover of this PGA program. James Spence Authentication (JSA) provides a letter of authenticity with this Nelson signature.
