Tiger Woods Signed 100th U.S. Open Cachet From Pebble Beach Plus 2 Others

Amazing as this may seem the United States Post Office has a branch that is right off the putting green at Pebble Beach adjacent to the shops which border this green. A perfect promotional venture was to have the Postal Service produce a stamped catchet for the event. The artwork of the oceanside course depicted on this envelope is from the brush of noted sports artist Armando Delgado. He has signed the cachet #114 of the edition of 3,000. As if the signature of the artist is not special enough added bonus to this brightly colored commemorative of the 100th U.S. Open is that the Champion of the event Tiger Woods has hand signed envelope #114 in black sharpie. Woods didn't just win the event, his first U.S. Open win and third career Major, he won it in record fashion with his 15-stroke margin of triumph as the largest ever in Major Championship history. This lot also includes #119 and #120 cachets respectively.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on June 21st with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
