1963 Masters SUNDAY Pairing Sheet -Jack Nicklaus First Masters Victory
Sunday April 7, 1963 is a very important day in Masters history as it saw a new first time winner, Jack Nicklaus, put on a green jacket. Unlike most who never reach this pinnacle of success again, Jack would have another five magical Championship days at the Masters. His record six wins at the Masters is total which gains more and more significance with each passing year as we reflect on this awe inspiring career accomplishment. The first, however, is owe so special, as is this 1963 Sunday pairing sheet from Jack's first win at the Masters. In excellent to near mint condition with it's only visual detracting flaws being the familiar minor creasing so often seen on these early pairing sheets, and a pencil marking from an exuberant fan who noted Nicklaus' triumph at the top of the sheet. This minor flaw could be easily cleaned up should the winning bidder wish.
Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on June 21st with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
