1935 Photo of Lawson Little & Fountain Pen Cut Signature

From the apex of Lawson Little's career, when he won the Sullivan Award in 1935 as top amateur athlete in sports, comes this action photo. It shows a young Lawson Little at the time of his dominance capturing both the British Amateur and the U.S. Amateur consecutively in 1934 and 1935. His amateur career was followed by a professional career which was highlighted by a win at the 1940 U.S. Open. An ink cut signature is also included in this lot from the World Golf Hall of Famer who passed at the young age of 57 in 1968. James Spence Authentication(JSA) has reviewed this signature, and their letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 7:00pm EST on June 21st with extended bidding to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended
