Edward 'Duke of Windsor' Signed Card with Photo
Edward VIII (D-1972)was King of England for only one year, 1936, abdicting the throne to marry the twice-divorced Wallis Simpson. He was Duke of Windsor after his addication. With vast leisure time the duke pursued his interests which were golf and gardening. Included in this deluxe framed display is a United Press International wire service image of Edward on the tee box awaiting his turn on the tee. This image was captured during an amateur tournament in 1954 contested in Havana, Cuba. A strongly penned (9 signature strength) dated 1955 autograph of Edward 'Duke of Windsor is presented with the image in this deluxe framed ensemble. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph and their letter of authenticity will come with this item.
