Ed 'Porky' Oliver Signed Wilson Advisory 8x10 Photo - Deceased 1961
Long before the days of big hitters on Tour like John Daly and Bubba Watson there was Porky Oliver blasting balls off the tee in 1950's professional golf. Popular Tour player passed away far to young in 1961. Seldom seen on anything other then an album page, Oliver has signed this 8x10 black and white Wilson advisory staff photo. Inking the autograph with "Best Of Luck Always to Bill (Davis)". Framed photo does show signs of water damage in lower portion which does not interfere with signature, but would preclude removal from frame without damage to photo. Bill Davis was a fellow PGA professional who competed in several Tour events before settling into a successful golf teaching career. James Spence Authentication has reviewed this signature of Porky Oliver, and their letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
