1920's Themed Balfour and Bentley 1st Ltd Ed Golf Chess Set 056/900

A unique offering of fine craftsmanship is on display with this golf themed Balfour and Bentley limited edition chess set. The pawns are represented by golf balls, the knights as golf bags, bishops as caddies, and the King and Queen as a male and female golfer respectively. The rooks are represented by castles, as they are oft referred to as. Each piece has a felt base so as to not damage the board, which also has red cloth lining in order to properly store the pieces within the board. This limited edition collectible is number 056 out of 900

This great run of golf at its highest level has been highlighted by seven PGA Tour wins, his play as a victorious member of the 1996 United States Presidents Cup team, and of course his Major triumph at the 1996 PGA Championship.
