Schenectady Putter - Center Shaft - Patent Legend on Back

The putter gained a great deal of recognition following Walter Travis' 1904 British Amateur Victory. A highly sought after club that maintains a high level of collect-ability, and one in this nice of shape with original grip and shaft stamp is a prime example.

Back reads:
Schenectady Putter - Pat. Mar. 24, 1903

Bottom stamping reads:

No. 976267
Sole Licensees
Harr D. Lee & Co. NY

Shaft stamp is 'R.R. Lewis'
