*Ben Hogan 1952 Wheaties Card and 8x10 Vintage B&W Photo
It had to be obvious to Wheaties marketing pros in 1951/52 when they were planning their set of golfers that Ben Hogan would be included in the 1952 set of 12 cards. In 1951, the Hogan life story had been brought to life in the acclaimed movie Follow the Sun: The Ben Hogan Story and on the course he won three of the five events he entered. Posting wins at the Masters, the US Open and the World Championship of Golf. The Action Wheaties 1952 Card shows the swing of "The Greatest Ball Striker of All-Time". Surface of 2 3/4" x 2" card is clean free from any staining which is so common in this issue. Accompanying this lot is a vintage 8 1/2" x 11" Black and White Photo of a young Ben, a great set memorabilia is offered to you in this let.
