Lot Original Programs From the First Three Seasons (1962, 1963, 1964) of Shell’s Wonderful WOG

The 1962 & 1963 Programs Were Authored by Two of the Most Iconic Golf Writers in the History of the Game (Herbert Warren Wind - 1962 Program, Charles Price - 1963 Program). They Describe in Words & Pictures the Legendary Courses and, to Some Degree, the Players and the Play of Each Year’s Eleven Matches. Those Classic Head-to-Head Matches Include:

Gene Sarazen vs. Henry Cotton at The Old Course-St. Andrew’s

Jack Nicklaus vs. Sam Snead at Pebble Beach Golf Club, where a young 22-year old Nicklaus sunk a clutch putt on the final hole to better Snead!

Byron Nelson vs. Gene Littler at Pine Valley Golf Club in 1962, Which Marked the Only Time That Pine Valley Members Ever Allowed Mainstream TV Exposure!
