Vintage Spode Light Green Ceramic Pitcher
This lovely vintage Fortuna Spode pitcher in pattern #K931 was manufactured by Spode China Company of England. This pitcher was only made from 1955 to 1960 and has never been reproduced. It is done in light sage green with an ivory white embossed slip decoration featuring an a golfer attempting a golf shot with a caddie looking on. Opposite this scene is just the caddie with a bag of clubs under his arms. The figural handle has a twisted design at it's base to resemble a rope. This pitcher stands 6 3/4" tall and has a top diameter of 4 1/8". It is marked on the bottom "Spode Fortuna England" and also has the pattern number of K931 impressed in it. It is in excellent condition with no nicks, chips or cracks.
