This driver was given to our consignor by Gary Player after a Monday practice round at the Toshiba Classic. Titanium drivers were relatively new at the time and some foam had come loose inside the head of the club as you can hear when you shake the club head. This noise drove Gary crazy and he could not wait to use a new club that was sent in from Gary's offices in Palm Beach Florida. As soon as his new and identical club arrived he tossed the driver to our consignor. “Hit it well, Laddie,” he said. Our consignor never used this club understanding it belonged to a legend, the winner of 9 majors. A true piece of history to be treasured.
