Frank Stranahan's 1947 Miami Country Club 4-Ball Tournament Winner Trophy
Forty-One teams began the qualifying quest for the 16 match play spots in the 1947 Miami 4-Ball. The team of Frank Stranahan and Al Besselink tied for top honors in qualfying with a card of 64. In the matches throughout the week the duo continued its hot play, and easily won the 36 hole championship match 6 and 5. For Stranahan's victory that week, he received the trophy offered in this lot. The inscription states:

5 1/4" base diameter with a 9" rim diameter, stands 10" tall
