Joyce Wethered Signed 8x10 Photo Holding Trophy
Widely regarded as the greatest British woman player of all time, her play and swing were greatly admired by Bobby Jones. Her victories include 5 English Amateur Championships (consecutive), and 4 British Ladies Amateur championships. Her golf game consisted of power and accuracy, something that was admired from the male golfers like Henry Cotton and Mr. Jones. Joyce retired from competitive play by 1930 and was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1975.
